Greetings potential and current clients:
I am a founding attorney and shareholder at Nelson & Lindquist, S.C.. In addition to my legal background, I would like to share a little bit of my personal background with you as well. As your attorney, I hope you develop a great deal of trust and confidence in me and I will work diligently to achieve that confidence. I believe very strongly in working in collaboration with my clients to realize their legal objectives. It is my firm belief that all clients deserve respect and attention to detail. With these principals in mind, I wish to share a little of my background with you.
I grew up in central Wisconsin, graduating from Assumption High School in Wisconsin Rapids, where I was actively involved in a variety of sports including football and baseball. I joined the Boy Scouts at a young age and attained the rank of Eagle Scout. I worked as a camp staff member and later camp director for Tesomas Scout Camp in Rhinelander, WI for 11 summers. While there, I was honored with the On Wings of Excellence award, the recognition given out to that staff member who best exemplifies the Scout Oath and Law.
After high school, I attended Minnesota State University at Mankato, MN, and graduated with a degree in law enforcement. It was during this time that I joined the Army Reserves and am proud to have had the opportunity to serve my country for eight years in that capacity. After graduation, I attended Michigan State University School of Law for one year before transferring to the University of St Thomas School of Law in Minneapolis, MN, where I received my Juris Doctor in May, 2006.
I served as a student attorney for the Rice County Attorney's office in Fairbault, MN for two years. I also worked as a law clerk for Attorney Steven Dunlap in Hudson, WI. After working for some time as a research attorney at Thompson West in Eagan, MN, I accepted an Associate position with Johnson and Cohen law office in Eau Claire, WI. In January, 2008, I opened the Nelson Law Office in downtown Hudson, WI. In April, 2009, Autumn Lindquist joined the firm as a shareholder and the name changed to Nelson & Lindquist, S.C..
I am very happily married to Joy Nelson, who is a Registered Nurse at St. Joseph's Hospital in St. Paul, MN. We have two wonderful children, a son, Aiden and a daughter, Audrey. To sum things up, I have a strong desire to be your family attorney that you turn to as your family grows with mine. I am dedicated to exceptional customer service, taking the time necessary to answer your questions and openly communicating and collaborating with clients to achieve your legal goals.

Greetings,
My name is Autumn Lindquist and I am a founding member and shareholder at Nelson & Lindquist, S.C. It is my hope that you will one day consider me a friend and confidante. So, let me tell you a little bit about myself.
I am first and foremost a wife and mother. My husband and I have two beautiful girls who keep us quite busy. When we are not running from dance or Girl Scouts, we are bike riding through the parks or curled up on the couch watching movies. We enjoy being outdoors, camping, fishing and playing volleyball.
However, in the office my passion is Family Law. I enjoy handling complex divorce cases, post-divorce matters, child support and guardian ad litem appointments. I have tried cases involving complex business and financial matters, as well as sensitive placement disputes. I regularly appear in numerous circuit courts in Western Wisconsin. Although, my practice concentrates primarily on family law, I also represent some of our local municipalities and continue to practice in probate.
After receiving my Bachelor's of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota in 1998, I went on to earn my Juris Doctor from William Mitchell College of Law in 2001. Prior to founding Nelson & Lindquist, I worked for Bakke Norman, S.C. in New Richmond, WI, from 2005 through April 2009. Additionally, I practiced in Trempealeau and Jackson counties for four years in a general law firm with a wide variety of cases, which included assisting Jackson County Corporation Counsel and various municipalities and businesses in the area.
It is our goal at Nelson & Lindquist to treat everyone who walks in the door with the care and attention they need. We understand that trusting an attorney is sometimes a hard thing to do, and we want to do everything we can to help you overcome any hesitation/reservation. I look forward to meeting with you! Sincerely,Autumn L. Lindquist
